South Korea's medical technology is globally recognized as being of the highest standard. The country will continue to move forward leading the global 'space medicine' studies in the future. Through HIS Youth competition, I hope that South Korean youth will broaden their perspectives gaining interest in 'space medicine' and grow into talented individuals in this field.

We, who are living in 'Today’s Space

(This is space),' must look our for the

future, and the main players of

'Tomorrow’s Us, Tomorrow’s Space

(This is Next)' are the youth. Through

the HIS Youth competition,
I hope that South Korean youth will

nurture their dreams of growing into

leaders of the global space industry

in the near future.

Gaining various career experiences

and meeting great mentors play a

crucial role in determining the

direction of one's life. By presenting

ideas to space-related experts,

receiving mentoring, and visiting the

world's leading space companies will

serve as a chance to motivate

students who dream of a career in

space. It will be a turning point for

them to specify their dreams through

experiences that cannot be learned

in the classroom, and I hope they will

grow into leaders who will drive

South Korea’s space science field

forward.

Eunjung Choi

Aerospace Engineering Student at

Seoul National University

Winning the World Creativity Contest

during my elementary school years,

visiting NASA, and winning an award

in 2022 at a competition organized by

KOSAC for aerospace research all

played a significant role in my

decision to major in aerospace

engineering. Just like how I found my

dream after beginning these

activities with simply curiosity, I hope

youth will participate in this

HIS Youth competition and build

valuable experiences that will

become the foundation for their

future.
